Kawasaki Z-1B description

If you are looking at this listing, chances are you are very familiar with the mighty Kawasaki Z-1B Superbike! This machine is in a very desirable stock condition with only 10,100 miles. The Z-1 is becoming very hard to find in this
collectible state. This bike is driven on a regular basis and operates just as it did when it rolled off the assembly line in Japan. This Z-1B is equipped with the rare, factory installed, dual disc front brake set-up. You don't see that very often these days. The stock exhaust is in in great condition with mirror-like chrome and no rust. The bike's rating overall is easily a 9.5 out of 10. I bought the bike from the original owner 15 years ago.
A factory Kawasaki Shop Manual (see picture) is included in the purchase.
Now for the small print:
Bid with ease as I have been selling on eBay since 1999. Check out my great feedback. Please don't bid unless you plan on purchasing the bike. No since wasting my time and yours. Your bid will be blocked if you have a zero feedback score.
The bike is currently in Rockford, Illinois and you will need to arrange for shipping from that location. You are responsible for all costs associated with the shipping.

This beauty will put a BIG smile on your face! It could be your lucky day....bid on!!!

Thanks for looking!

The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Put a sting in your 2010 Z1000's tail

Fri, 19 Feb 2010

SCORPION has released an all-new new silencer for the 2010 Kawasaki Z1000.   The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note.  This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.
