Kawasaki Title Sponsor For AMA Road Race Finale At New Jersey Motorsports Park
Fri, 02 May 2014Kawasaki Motors Corp., USA and New Jersey Motorsports Park have announced a new partnership that will see the manufacturer become the title sponsor for AMA Pro Road Racing’s visit to New Jersey Motorsports Park this fall. The weekend of September 13-14, 2014 will be branded as the Kawasaki Devil’s Showdown, and will feature AMA Pro SuperBike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike, AMA Pro SuperSport and AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series classes. Mon, 04 Mar 2013Ryan Villopoto captured his series-leading fourth win of the season in a red-flagged main event before a record crowd of 60,178 at St. Louis’ Edwards Jones Dome, as the 2013 AMA Supercross season reaches its midway point. The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
