Mon, 23 Apr 2012The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. Kawasaki Unveils 50th Anniversary Street and Neo-Classic Z900 and Z650 editions
Mon, 17 Jan 2022To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Z-Series, the Greens have prepared colorways for two families of motorcycles that replicate the look and feel of the legendary Kawasaki Z1 from 1972. At the same time, the color and graphic schemes of the neo-retro motorcycles - Z900RS and Z650RS - will be as close as possible to those of the historical Z1 model, and the Z900 and Z650 street will receive a creatively redesigned coloring, referring, nevertheless, to the roots of the Z-series.
New: Kawasaki Z40 Limited Edition watch
Wed, 26 Sep 2012KAWASAKI are releasing a limited run of chronograph watches to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of their seminal bike. To reflect the engine capacity of the Z1, the run of watches has been limited to just 903 time pieces and will retail in the UK at £249.95. The watch will be officially launched at the main German motorcycle show, Intermot, on 2October, in just the same way the Z1 arrived in Europe for the first time 40 years ago.
