Kawasaki Other description

This 1988 Kawasaki was purchased 2 years ago from a friend and we have put 11,000 miles of great riding on her. She has been very faithful and never left us stranded. She got serviced annually and was parked in a heated room every winter. Because the wife has a bad hip and can't get on the bike anymore, we downsized to a 600 Kaw so husband can continue to ride. Wife got a VW Dunbuggy.

We’ve already seen the fake headlights with Kawasaki getting a jump on the new regulation earlier this season with headlight decals on Tom Sykes‘ and Loris Baz‘s ZX-10R. Starting in 2013, all superbikes will have fake headlights to resemble their homologated production models.

Oh hi there Mobil!

There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
