Up for auction is my KZ650 in very good condition with original miles and many new parts including Tires and Battery . The bike has few modifications as seen in photos and it is driven once weekly . There are a couple of minor dents in the gas tank but the paint and chrome are in nice shape . The bike is being sold in the lower 48 states only and I do not ship so buyer must arrange shipping or pick up . Ryan Villopoto Out For 2014 Motocross Title Defense
Tue, 06 May 2014Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto will be unable to defend his 2013 AMA Pro Motocross Championship title after opting to get knee surgery to fix a lingering injury. Villopoto battled with the knee issue throughout the Monster Energy Supercross season, and after consulting his medical team, it was decided he will undergo surgery on his knee as soon as possible. Monster Energy Kawasaki has signed the 2013 Canadian Monster Energy Motocross Nationals Champion Brett Metcalfe to join Jake Weimer for the 2014 AMA Pro Motocross season.
Recall for 2009-2010 Kawasaki KLX250
Tue, 05 Jul 2011Kawasaki is recalling some 2009-2010 KLX250 models due to a risk of leaky fuel tanks. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the fuel tank on affected motorcycles may not be in contact with the frame-mounted rubber dampers designed to support the front of the tank, and the tank side mounting tabs may have excessive clearance from from the frame. As a result, spot-welded sections along the side tabs may be under excessive stress, potentially resulting in cracking and a fuel leak.
