Kawasaki Other description

I have for sale a low mileage 1975 Kawasaki H1.  This bike has sat for some time and I'm never going to get to it so it has to go. It kicks over with good compression. I put a battery in it and hooked up an auxiliary fuel supply and she started up. Wouldn't idle so the carbs may need tweaking/balancing.  I did drive it a couple years ago and the transmission shifted into all gears fine. It is near 100% complete missing only a few small items. The air box is not pictured but is included. The chrome has some pitting in spots. The exhaust is solid with no holes. The left pipe has more rust than the other two.  Seat looks decent. Tank has been lined and is solid. Rims are decent. Still has the steering damper and the spare spark plug holder. Perfect candidate for a restoration. I picked this up a few years ago and haven't done anything with it. Time for someone else to take over. I have shipped bikes overseas so I can assist with that if you need.  Good luck.

Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.

2013-2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Faces More Brake Issues

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

Earlier this year, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 was one of several models impacted by a recall on Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators. The fault for that problem clearly lay with Nissin, as the same issue affected other motorcycles from several manufacturers. The little Ninja might not be out of the wood yet however, as other brake-related issues have come up.
