Kawasaki Other description

Clean Survivor 1974 Kawasaki H1 500 Two Stroke Triple.  All sorted out and used most weekends.  I planned on using this bike all the time when I bought it 3 years ago so I freshened it up with rebuilt carbs, and New: Tires, Brake Shoes, Chain, Front Pads, Rebuilt Caliper, Stainless Steel Brake Line, Master Cylinder, Petcock, Tach + Speedo cables, Clutch Cable and battery.  Matching numbers Frame + Motor.  Polished fork legs, rear hub and cases.  Bike starts on 2 kicks when cold and 1 when hot.  Plugs last from April till November and it never fouls plugs or stalls in traffic.

Snowjob

Sun, 05 Feb 2012

Pictured here using a Kawasaki, the Snowjob conversion system turns your motorcycle into a jumping, wheelieing snowcycle in less than four hours. Derek Hine designed the Snowjob back in '73, but it looks like it could be just as handy today.

Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.

2014 AMA Supercross – Phoenix Results

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
