Classic Steve McQueen era Kawasaki F11 250 Enduro time capsule Vin # F1129880 w/ matching numbers. Starts right up and rides great. 2800 miles. Original paint. The bike has had one owner besides myself and I planned to fully restore it but never get to it. It was garage kept but here in the Northwest metal gets a little surface rust from the condensation as you can see in the pictures. The pictures pretty much say it all. Mechanically and structurally solid with no functional issues. The things that need attention are front tire has the start of some storage separation near rim but is safely ridable as is, speedometer cable is separated from hub (done by me oops), the air filter was misplaced, the turn signal electrical needs to be hooked up, air intake side trim piece missing. Thats about all I can see. Lots of torque, shifts nice, good balance and shock absorption. Good travel in forks. Have original title and original owners manual. Pick up or shipping the responsibility of buyer. Arrangements can be discussed. Payment must be received within 48 hours of auction end. 2014 Kawasaki Estrella Retro-Styled 250 Announced for Japan

The Estrella has been around since 1992 but apart from a few years of European availability in the late ’90s, has mostly been confined to Kawasaki’s home market. Updated for 2014 with a new seat and color options, the Estrella remains powered by an air-cooled 249cc Single.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success
Mon, 29 Jul 2013AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.
2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results
Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
