Up for auction, 1970 Kawasaki H1 Mach III in great condition. Very nice Southern California Bike. I purchased it from the original owner about three years ago. He was in his seventies and did not ride any more. He had the bike maintained all its life and before he sold it to me he had the clutch and seals replaced. It is nice that it does not leak oil like one of my other kawasaki's. I added a few touches with many parts re chromed, such as the pipes,shocks, etc. Pipes look new, fenders are great, Still has the original black plate from 1970.
Here are a few items I had taken care of when I received the bike. New cables, carburetors tuned, new plugs. When I took it to the local shop to get it looked over, thats the items they recommended. About $600 in repairs then I rode it home. Very fun to ride and it gets a lot of looks. It still needs a new seat cover and the rubber foot pegs are wore out. Reserve is fairly low. Kawasaki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Kawasaki reported a 8.7% decrease in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The motorcycle and engine division (which includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines) generated sales of 59.8 billion yen (US$775.4 million) , a decrease from the 65.5 billion yen (US$848.9 million) reported from the same period last year. Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a profit of 9.56 billion yen (US$123.8 million) over the quarter, compared to a profit of 5.88 billion yen (US$76.2 million) reported last year.

Brad Puetz has been promoted to the position of Media Relations Supervisor and will be responsible for developing and implementing new public relations activities and new model launches. Greg Lasiewski will join the Advertising team as Senior Brand Communication/Sponsorship Specialist, managing the development and implementation of sponsorship, lifestyle and marketing programs for KMC.
