Kawasaki Ninja description
Bike is seldom ridden. I take it around the block and through town about twice a month to keep it fresh. Other than that it sits in the garage. Great mechanical condition. It was knocked over in a parking lot at my friends apartment about 3yrs ago. There are some minor scuffs on the right side from that. I took it to a local shop and he said for $500 he would replace the grip, peg and cover and buff the plastic. It wasn't bad enough to me so it is still that way. You can buy new plastics for that much. There are some bubbles in the clear coat on the rear seat cowl. There is a small chip on the left side of the tank from a lawnmower rock. Not a dent just a small chip. The bike is as good mechanically as a new one. I haven't ridden it much since August 2011 when I found out my wife was pregnant. Just decided to clean out the garage and let it go. Make me an intelligent offer and its yours. You will not be disappointed. It is the All Green color scheme which is rare. The bike sells itself. WSBK 2013: Magny-Cours Race Report
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
Kawasaki Producing 599cc 2013 Ninja ZX-6R for Japanese Racing Homologation
Wed, 31 Oct 2012When Kawasaki announced it was upping the engine displacement for the Ninja ZX-6R to 636cc, the immediate question on many Team Green fans’ minds was what it would mean for the company’s supersport racing efforts. Kenan Sofuloglu won the 2012 World Supersport Championship on a Kawasaki ZX-6R, but under the regulations, he may not be allowed to defend his title next season on the 2013 model as homologation requirements in Supersport racing series limit Inline-Fours to displacements smaller than 600cc. Fear not however, as Kawasaki will be producing a special version of the ZX-6R with an engine displacement of 599cc, the same as the 2012 version.

Thu, 09 Dec 2010These two beautiful Z1R Kawasakis appeared at the annual Mooneyes Yokohama Custom show last weekend. With one sporting a street/strip look (spot the belly-scraping ride height and rigid rear struts) and the other undergoing a sort of modernisation, they both reminded me just how handsome and unique the original slab-sided Z1R was. Judging by some of the other wild and weird exhibits I made a mental note to myself: must make sure I'm in Japan this time next year.
