2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, Custom street fighter - Custom street fighter, new black paint. Micron exhaust. Comes with clear title. In the competitive 600cc SuperSport class, continual improvements are necessary to stay ahead of the pack. After taking the lead with the introduction of an all-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R sportbike in 1998 and remaing strong among competitors in 1999, the new 2000 ZX-6R is poised to have the competition chasing it into the new millennium. Building on the success of its predecessors, the 2000 ZX-6R is even more tightly focused to keep Kawasaki ahead of the pack. A new engine, revised suspensioin, frame modifications, lower weight and a mean aerodynamic fairing - characterized by dual headlights - help ensure that the ZX-6R will again lead the way in the highly-competitive 600cc category.

2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.

Wed, 19 Jan 2011This steam-punk inspired bike is the work of LA based sculptor and, er, free thinker, Baron Margo. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.

Thirty years later we’re still riding Ninjas but, thankfully, drinking original recipe Coca-Cola. For 2015, Kawasaki celebrates three decades of Ninja models with a 30th Anniversary Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja ZX-6R ABS.
