I am selling my cool vintage '86 Ninja GPZ 600R. It has 13k on the odometer which is very low for being almost 30 yrs old. I just rebuilt the carbs and the bike runs. The upgrades include a jetting kit, steering stabilizer, rear fender eliminator, tinted windscreen, and Yoshimura exhaust. The bike is garaged and virtually free of rust. It has the the original paint which is far from perfect but is very cool. 1986 was the only year with this particular paint scheme and graphics. The seat is perfect with no tears. The tires have good tread left. Not too many of these bikes pop up for sale especially in running condition, so get it while you can! I have a clear title. Price is $1600 firm. Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
Mon, 25 Jul 2011A recall has been issued on the 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R due to a problem with the wiring harness. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a portion of the wiring harness on some 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R models may get pinched between the subframe and the rear fender, or between the subframe and the bolt holding the seat cover. This may result in damage to the harness and wiring, potentially resulting in a short in the electrical system, which could cause the engine to suddenly stop.
