Kawasaki KZ900 Z1 description

Vintage 1975 Kawasaki KZ900 Z1 Project Bike. I purchased this bike from the widow of the original owner. It has been sitting for several years at a rural Nebraska homestead. Engine kicks over with strong compression. The ignition key was misplaced over the years so I have been unable to check for spark. I am sure the carburetors will need a thorough cleaning. Bike had a fairing mounted to it at one time so headlight is missing. Has aftermarket 4 into 1 exhaust, looks like the exhaust baffle is missing. The bike sat next to a pine tree and has some drops of sap on the tank and rear fender cowl as seen in pictures. Odometer reads 27,741. Clear Nebraska Title. This bike will make a great classic Kawasaki project. Bike is located in Central Nebraska. All shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I will be available to assist with loading.

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
