Kawasaki KZ 550 description

Welcome to my auction for this beautifully done build. Started of has a 1990 KZ 550, suspension, front end, rear end and exhaust is all stock, but as you can see it has been modified by an up and coming California builder with the following features, to name a few.
Custom clip ons
Custom ignition
Custom tail lights
Coke bottle grips
Custom seat
Custom lighting for license plate
Unique toggle switch for ignition, is really cool, makes you feel like launching a rocket as you turn it on...
Modified exhaust ( quiet at the stop light, but she screams as you accelerate)
Polished wheels
Custom mirrors, etc.
She is a 6 speed dual overhead cam (awesome sound) 550 cc engine, air cooled, fast enough for keeping up 80 mph easy on the freeway, and with that many gears, screamer enough to make you feel you are going twice the speed when you get in canyon roads, also dual front ventilated disc brakes not only looks great but stops like it should.
I promise you won't be disappointed to run this little machine down your boulevard, she gets a lot of thumbs up everywhere, I have had many motorcycles but this is one special, good luck bidding, if any questions, just ask, check my feedback, is 100% and I want to keep it that way, so please ask what you need to know before bidding so we are clear I what you are getting.
I have tested this bike myself at normal speeds and she is ready for fun riding.
Clean title and currently registered in California.

How to wheelie ten tonnes of Z1300

Tue, 21 Dec 2010

Yes, the video may be old (that's Barry Sheene doing the voice-over) but it's still worth seeing. This mad Fin was the inspiration for every stunt rider you've ever seen. Forget the White Helmets or Dave Taylor, he practically invented stunt riding all by himself.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More

Wed, 17 Jul 2013

Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
