2008 KX450F FRAME WITH 2000 MODEL KX500 ENGINE
this is a new build with hour meter with 7 hours on it. the engine was completely rebuilt with all new bearings, seals, gaskets. new top end. cylinder replated and bored to stock. crank trued, carb rebuilt, & new clutch plates. the frame was dissasembled and modified to accept the kx500 engine. the "Y'' piece and the motor mounts were cnc machined from 6061 aluminum stock and tig welded to the frame. everyone who sees it says it looks "factory". all bearings were cleaned and greased or replaced if needed. it has brand new sevice honda fmf custom pipe & fmf powercore 2 silencer. new pirelli mx tires. & new moose racing rear rim. (rear tire & rim not installed in pics.) it has modified suspension by fastlap. it soaks up big hits better than anything ive riddin. also have new green fenders not installed yet. this build was done right! by someone with over 30 years experience in welding, machining & fabrication. and 25+ years of racing and working on 2 stroke mx bikes. if you have ??s please ask before you bid. test rides with cash in my hand. buyer will be responsible for shipping cost. but i can load from the dock at my work in dalton ga. 30720 & i will pallet or crate it if needed. i do not have a tittle. ga. does not require or even issue tittle on dirt bikes. i will give a bill of sale. thanks for looking.

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.

With the new Concours, Kawi created its first traction control system. Unlike the ABS, the rider can disable or enable KTRC, and can do so on the fly. The new TC system isn’t level selectable, like, say, Ducati’s DTC, and it isn’t intended to allow a rider to go faster on their Connie.
