1999 Kawasaki KX250 dirt bike. 250cc liquid cooled two cycle engine. Bike is in attractive shape for the year. There is no cracks or deep scratches in the plastics. The whole engine was just gone through and was done right! New piston, new rod, new crank bearings and seals. The carb has been cleaned and adjusted. Power valves have been serviced. All wheel and suspension bearings have been serviced. Brake fluid changed and new pads. The bike has many aftermarket parts like, hot rods connecting rod, pro circuit suspension link, pro taper bars and grips, pro circuit headpipe and silencer, new rear tire, v force reads, excel black wheels, many more. Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans

NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.

Got to apologise for the mogadon-inspired soundtrack but this 1979 Kawasaki promo vid' is worth watching just for the footage of Freddie Spencer and Wes Cooley. Watch the slo-mo of Cooley's GS1000 Suzuki on the brakes. It's horrendous.

From the News That Sounds Too Good To Be True But, Boy, Do We Hope It Is Department, MWR Air Filters wants riders to know that its MWR High Efficiency Air Filters are breaking new ground in air filtration technology. While the company’s name might not be commonplace among performance oriented riders – yet – some pretty big names are using MWR filters even though the company doesn’t pay sponsorship dollars. According to MWR’s press release, “the reigning WSBK champion, Tom Sykes uses MWR Air Filters in his Kawasaki ZX10R.” Also, 17 riders at the Isle of Man TT were running with MWR filters.
