Kawasaki KX description

1989 Kawasaki KX500 Very good condition

This restoration project was done in 2014 and has only had minimal ride time since restoration. This KX500 has had a lot of work done to make it one of the cleanest KX500 bikes you will find.   The engine has been completly rebuilt Including
New Wiseco Piston Kit
Restored cylinder by Powerseal great Nikasil plating company
New bearings and seals
Restored Crankshaft trued and balanced by crankworks in AZ
New Clutch
Boysen Rad Valve
Carburator was gone through and is in good condition.
New factory stator cover
New chain guard
The Frame and body were also restored at the same time as the engine work.
The frame was powder coated and has minimal wear from riding boot wear.
The seat cover was replaced with a Factory Replica KX500 cover
New fenders, tank shrouds, number plates
Factory KX500 graphics 1989
new wheel bearings
Swingarm bearings
rebuilt Shock
rebuilt front forks
new brakes
new chain
new sprockets
new tires
All work done at time of restoration though this bike has low hours since completion
This bike is in excellent condition and would be a great addition to any collection. I personally feel this bike should be in a collection and I honestly feel it should be preserved rather than ridden (as such the reason for the sale).
There is No title to this bike and the VIN Number is covered with powdercoat the bike is not stolen I purchased this bike in 2012 and all work was done by reputable shops.
I will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge, and yes I owed the bike at the time of the restoration, Many parts that have been replaced are possibly not listed. This is a functional, restored collectible machine. I have spent a lot of money to get this bike in the condition that it is in currently yes there is a reserve and please consider the value, rareness, and collectability, of this machine when bidding.

This Is What a 110 MPH Wheelie Looks Like…On Ice – Video

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

Ryan Suchanek is crazy. Aboard his Kawasaki ZX-10R, he set the Guiness world record for the fastest wheelie on ice at 95 mph. Last year he broke that record at 108.5 mph.

You want a nice little car, you do.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
