Kawasaki KLX description

2011 KAWASAKI KLX 140, 2011 KAWASAKI KLX140, Small-bike friendliness, big-bike capability.Theres nothing like an off road motorcycle that does many things well, especially one that fits a wide variety of riders and skill-sets. And with its mid-sized stature, flexible engine and easy-to-ride nature, Kawasakis 2011 KLX 140 is one such multi-talented machine. Smaller riders will love the KLXs physical size a touch larger than a typical minibike and push-button starting, while those a bit taller will appreciate the larger-wheeled KLX140L, which features a 19 inch front and 16 inch rear wheel in place of the standard KLXs 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheels. Both 140s are friendly to beginners and novices, yet both offer a roomy cockpit and enough performance and handling prowess to keep more advanced riders smiling.

ZX-10R. Worth the weight?

Thu, 18 Nov 2010

The whisper on pit lane is that 2011 will be a good year for the green K. Our moles within the racing circles tell us that apart from more power and less weight (always handy), the new ZX-10R's main advantage is not these two factors but rather its improved weight distribution, weight transference qualities and grip levels. Studying Tom Syke's lap time data from Kawasaki's public test sessions it seems it's much easier for him to maintain consistent fast lap times back-to-back over the whole range of tyre degradation and fuel load changes.

Italian racebike manufacturer Paton announced its return to international racing in entering the Lightweight TT race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT. The Paton name has been around since 1958, most notably competing in the late ’90s and early 2000s in the Grand Prix World Championship, but has been relatively quiet since the end of the 500cc era. Paton will enter its all-new S1, the company’s first street-legal motorcycle.
