Kawasaki K-Series description
Used 1999 Kawasaki KZ1000 Police edition. This is a police motor that was bought new in 1999 by the Webster Groves, MO Police Department. It was used for 17 years for traffic enforcement, parade/special details and training. It runs great but is in need of some TLC. All of the red/blue lights and communication equipment have been removed. It being sold with the trunk box(not currently attached). All of the "police" insignias will be removed from motorcycle and trunk box prior to sale. Local pick only and sold as is. |

2013 AMA Supercross Daytona Race Report
Mon, 11 Mar 2013Ryan Villopoto won his fifth main event race of the year at Daytona to take over the lead in the 2013 AMA Supercross championship standings. The win is the third at Daytona in the Monster Energy Kawasaki racer’s career, matching the totals set by Bob Hannah, Mike Kiedrowski, Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed. Only Ricky Carmichael, who designed the sand-based Daytona track, holds more Supercross wins at Daytona with five victories.
New 1972 Kawasaki Z1 only £720
Fri, 29 Jun 2012Looking at the pictures of Japanese firm Yamato's new Kawasaki Z1 you'd be hard pushed to tell it's not the real thing. But in fact it's a scale model only just over a foot long, made with incredible attention to detail with several years of development to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 900cc Z1 of 1972. Using 3D scanning of real parts, the bike was scaled down to create this model, which has now gone on sale in Japan at an eye-watering £720 apiece.
2014 WSBK – Misano Results
Mon, 23 Jun 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes won both races at Misano to stretch his championship lead to 39 points as we pass the halfway mark of the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The reigning champion scored his third double-win round of the season while his teammate Loris Baz added a pair of second-place finishes. David Salom on the Kawasaki’s factory EVO entry was also the top rider in the new sub-class for both races to top off a strong weekend for the Team Green.
