1971 Kawasaki H1 Mach III 500cc Two stroke triple cylinder. This bike is 85% complete with bill of sale. It'll make a great restoration project or radical 70's screamer. Bike is better then pictured. ( I'm not a photographer, haha) I bought this bike from the same guy as the titled 1972 H2 listed in another auction, I have a bill of sale in his name. It was last plated in Washington state ( original Longview, WA bike ) . Kicks over freely with good compression. This bike has also been repainted and had some 70's era cosmetic mods, such as long fork tubes ( frame NOT cut! ), head light, seat/pan, tail cowl and handle bars. I'm sure with a little elbow grease you'd get this guy fire up in no time. The guy I bought it from drove it into a barn and parked it after getting a DUII on it. ( I can't imagine being drunk on a triple! Don't try that at home guys, haha) I'm selling off my triples because I just don't have the time to dedicate to them and I'd like to see them go to someone that'll get them back terrorizing the street, scaring dogs and killing plant life! AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Supersport TT 2 Results
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Michael Dunlop added another chapter to the Dunlop family history in the Isle of Man TT, winning the second Monster Energy Supersport race of the 2012 event. Dunlop led at the end of all four laps for his third career TT win. His uncle, Joey Dunlop, is the all-time leader in TT wins at 26 while his father Robert Dunlop has five.
Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.
