1974 KAWASAKI H1 500 This is matching number bike with a clear title. H1F-30519, H1E 100552 The frame has been epoxy painted, fresh paint on body set. New: - set of new pistons and rings .050 fresh bore - clutch friction plates - original rims, re-spoked - rear shocks - fork tubes and seals - turn signals and stems - sprockets and chain - tires and tubes - cables - mirrors - spark plugs and wires - seat cover - petcock - battery - carbs cleaned & synced with all the original brass - Original air box All the chrome is in good shape. All electrical works. It starts and drives through all the gears, Performs well. Over all a very nice rider with slight patina. Small ding and typical acid stain on left pipe. I do have the owners manual and spark plug holder. A $500.00 non refundable Pay Pal deposit is required within 48 hrs. Balance within 7 days via certified bank check or wire transfer. ZX-10R inspired by JPS Lotus?
Tue, 10 Jul 2012Spotted on Kawasaki's Facebook page, this 'Limited Edition' ZX-10R has been created by none other than double-F1 World Champ Emerson Fittipaldi, who is - amongst other things - a Kawasaki dealer in Brazil and who also happened to win his first World Championship in 1972 in a JPS Lotus that had a very similar colour scheme. Fittipaldi started his motorsport career on a motorcycle, aged just 14, before heading to hydrofoils (surely no-one else at world level has ever raced these?!) and then the more traditional route of karting. Question is: what do you think to the paintjob?
Sykes Staying with Kawasaki Through 2016 WSBK Season
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes has signed a contract extension with Kawasaki to see him continue to ride for Team Green through the 2016 season. Sykes, who currently holds a 44-point lead over Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli with three rounds remaining in the season, has been with Kawasaki since 2010. Since hopping on board the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, Sykes has won 22 WSBK races and holds a record for 23 Superpoles in the current qualifying format.
2014 AMA Flat Track: Springfield Mile I Results
Mon, 26 May 2014Bryan Smith edged out Kenny Coolbeth Jr. by a mere 0.041 seconds to win the AMA Pro Flat Track Experts Twins race at the Springfield Mile. The ten laps of the race saw Smith and his Kawasaki battling for the lead with Coolbeth and Jake Johnson and Jared Mees sitting close behind waiting for an opening.
