New Chain, valves shimmed, new master cylinder, new clutch lever, new grips, new battery, new throttle cable, new turn signals, new head gasket, new rings. Carbs have been cleaned, and new O rings installed. There is ZERO rust inside the gas tank. Dual disk breaks, single disk in the rear. Adjustable air shocks up font. The petcock has been upgraded to Gravity feed. No more vacuum diaphragm to fail. All of the lights work, turn signals, headlight, brake light. This is a clean bike, it runs great. And yes, it's on a dmv non Op, and I have a clean pink slip. There are no back fees. Starts, runs, stops. Could use new tires. |

Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 2 Results
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.
2013 AMA Supercross San Diego Race Report
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Davi Millsaps captured his second main event win of the season and expanded his AMA Supercross championship lead to 19 points with a wire-to-wire victory at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The Rockstar Energy Suzuki rider jumped ahead at the start for the holeshot and held that lead for the entire 20-lap race for the win. Finishing 2.386 seconds back was Team Honda Muscle Milk‘s Justin Barcia while Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey finished 10.300 seconds back for third place.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
