WANT THE POWER OF A 450 IN A 250 FRAME, THIS IS YOUR BIKEIn 2006, Stefan Everts was reigning world champion (with a mere 14 victories in 15 Grand Prix) and then he became KTM Race Director. Back then, he could already see where the future of motocross was heading and in KTM he found an ideal partner for his vision: efficient and maximum practicable performance from smaller displacements in an overall package that's tailored unconditionally to the requirements of the rider. Four years or so later, it's ready: the new 350 SX-F. With a new engine, fuel injection system and smaller displacement, new bodywork, new chassis - in fact, a whole new concept. Fri, 18 Apr 2014Fans of off-road racing will be happy to hear that after nearly six years, the public can see a sneak peak of the film “PENTON: The John Penton Story” with the newly released trailer featuring John Penton, his hall of fame family and a few of the motorcycle industry legends that were interviewed for the film. The nearly four-minute trailer teases the entire film and specific stories the audience will get to see in the final film when it opens in theaters on June 20th. Scored by the film’s composer and music editor Chris Brady, the trailer features: John Penton along with his sons Jack, Jeff and Tom.
2014 KTM 450 Rally Replica Announced
Thu, 20 Feb 2014KTM announced it will offer an official replica production version of its Dakar-winning 450 Rally bike. Marc Coma rode the 450 Rally for his fourth Dakar victory and 13th in a row for KTM in January, finishing nearly two hours faster than any other motorcycle entrant. The 2014 KTM 450 Rally Replica will be available for purchase later this year for €24,000 (US$32,881) for privateer racers or anyone else who wants to own their own rally bike.

Mon, 03 Feb 2014Chad Reed tasted victory for the second time in three weeks at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., leading all 20 laps and fending off a last-lap challenge from rookie upstart Ken Roczen. Reed, who also won the Jan. 18 round in the second of three Anaheim races, now trails fellow Kawasaki rider Ryan Villopoto by just two points in the 2014 AMA Supercross championship race.
