2010 KTM 450 SX-F, approx 10 hours total, this bike has lots of aftermarket parts, and spares and extras that come with it. It has seen very little use, owned by a local pro first, who rode it for 6 or so hours, then by a 52 year-old Vet rider (me) who's had very little time to ride. I installed an hour meter when I got it and it now shows 4+/- hours. Has Pro-Taper bars, pegs, and rear sprocket, Hammerhead shifter and grips, multiple orange KTM parts on the motor and frame, KTM handguards, and skidplate. Tires are both very good with sharp edges. Chain is in good shape. All original plastic is in very good condition, some scuffs but no damage. Graphics are original, some rough spots, but good condition. Pro-Action Suspension valving and springs on both the forks and the shock. Original toolkit and manuals and more are included. NADA price without all extras and spares shows $5285, and this bike is in better condition for a lower price. Located in NJ near Atlantic City. Would like to have it picked up, but will discuss other options BEFORE the sale is complete (I will have to rent something to move it, or meet somewhere, and some of the cost may have to be added to the sale). I can store til arrangements to pick up can be made. $250 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of end of auction, full payment within 7 days (remainder in cash, in person only, unless acceptable arrangemens are made in advance). Report: KTM 390 Duke to Launch at EICMA
Wed, 24 Oct 2012KTM and Bajaj Auto will launch a new 375cc member of is entry-level Duke lineup, reports Indian site Zigwheels. Previous reports had KTM developing a 350 Duke as an extension of its 125 and 200 Duke (pictured above) family. The 350 Duke was also listed on a leaked Powerpoint slide from a North American dealer meeting we published in February, so this new model may be the first of the small-displacement Duke family to make it to the U.S.
KTM 690 Duke Replaces Kawasaki Ninja 250R for WSBK’s 2012 European Junior Cup
Fri, 20 Jan 2012The World Superbike Championship‘s European Junior Cup youth racing series will switch to race-prepped KTM 690 Duke motorcycles for 2012 from the Kawasaki Ninja 250R racebikes used in its inaugural 2011 season. The rebranded KTM European Junior Cup will be open to riders 14-19 and will be held at eight WSBK rounds in 2012. The series was conceived as an entry point for young racers, providing them opportunities to develop their skills before moving up to higher classes such as the World Superstock Championship and beyond.
KTM Announces Three-Rider Moto3 Factory Team
Fri, 25 Nov 2011KTM will enter the three-rider lineup of Sandro Cortese, Arthur Sissis and Danny Kent in the 2012 Moto3 class in the manufacturer’s return to Grand Prix road racing. The Austrian manufacturer last competed in the World Championship in 2009, racing in the 125cc Grand Prix class. KTM’s return comes as the 125cc class is being replaced with the new 250cc Moto3 class.
