08' KTM SX450F with terrific tires, new sprocket/chain, electric starter, around 20-25 hours on the bike total, oil changed every five hours with synthetic oil, air filter cleaned often, mechanically solid bike. I am a beginner 35 yr old rider and set this bike up for trail riding. I ran it on a couple of vet C class hare scrambles but to my knowledge has never been raced motorcross. and am wanting to downsize to a 250cc. There is your usual cosmetic wear on the plastic/decals. There is a dent on the header pipe which can be seen in 1 of the images, I will do my best to remove that before bike changes hands. KTM Announces Record Sales of 123,859 Motorcycles in 2013
Tue, 21 Jan 2014KTM announced a 15.6% increase in motorcycles sales in 2013, thanks in large part to expansion into Asian and South American markets. The Austrian manufacturer sold 123,859 motorcycles in 2013, compared to the previous annual sales record of 107,142 motorcycles set in 2012. Increased sales translated to revenues of €716.3 million (US$971.0 million) in 2013, a new record shattering the previous record of €612.0 million set the previous year by 17.0%.
2013 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition Announced
Tue, 11 Dec 2012KTM is releasing an updated limited edition version of its 450 SX-F, developed from Ryan Dungey‘s 2012 AMA Motocross championship-winning race bike and KTM‘s R&D departments in both the U.S. and Austria. The 2013 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition receives a number of updates from the limited edition model released last year, developed during Dungey’s Supercross and Motocross campaign.
Spy Photos Capture Near-Production KTM 1290 Super Duke
Mon, 22 Apr 2013Spy photographers have snapped shots of what appears to be a near-production prototype of the KTM 1290 Super Duke. The test mule in the pictures show some differences from the 1290 Super Duke R prototype revealed at the 2012 EICMA show. The spy pictures reveal a stacked headlight design similar to the component used on KTM‘s smaller naked models such as the 390 Duke.
