2003 Ktm 65 SX, Great Youth Bike! - To use the maximum displacement for its class, the stroke grew from 40 to 40.8 mm and a displacement of 64.85 cc. An aluminum kick-starter instead of the former steel lever saves weight and a new joint makes it easier to operate. To save more weight, the ignition cover is also made of aluminum. The 65SX is now equipped with a state of the art digital ignition.

2013 KTM Freeride 350 Gets CARB and EPA Approval

The KTM Freeride 350 has cleared emission certification testing in the U.S. including the state of California, getting approval from both the Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board. A leaked powerpoint slide from KTM’s North American dealer meeting in 2011, listed the Freeride 350 for 2013 and they may still happen.

The 10th Annual KTM Adventure Rider Rally took place September 13-15 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Hundreds showed up to the Steamboat Grand Hotel to enjoy a weekend of KTM activities, including appearances from KTM factory riders  Andrew Short, Mike Brown, Kurt Caselli and Mike Lafferty, plus technical and riding seminars, self-guided rides, demo rides, games, camaraderie and more. The rally was such as rousing success KTM has posted a beautiful wrap video.

KTM to stop production due to coronavirus

Pierer Mobility has announced plans to temporarily stop assembling KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas brands from March 30 to April 10. We are talking about the plant in Mattighofen, where "orange" motorcycles and Husqvarna are produced, as well as a factory in Girona, Spain. The company is taking this step to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
