KTM Other description

This is a 2001 KTM 250cc MXC. The only issue with this bike is it needs a new back hub. The sprockets came loose and broke the hub during a ride on my property. The sprocket is fine.  The bike runs excellent and is very fast. I just finished putting a $300 slave cylinder on it right before the hub broke, also new piston& rings. I have receipts to back up all these if requested.

This is for local pickup ONLY! I DO have the title for this bike.
Please feel free to ask any questions BEFORE bidding. Thank you!

2013 KTM 1190 Adventure Revealed in Leaked Brochure

Tue, 18 Sep 2012

Pictures and details of an all-new 2013 KTM 1190 Adventure have emerged from a brochure that briefly appeared on KTM‘s official website. The document has since been removed but not before we got our hands on them. Expected to be unveiled at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, in just a few weeks, the latest adventure touring bike from KTM will be powered by a 1190cc V-Twin engine, not a 1290cc powerplant as initially expected.

Ryan Dungey Propels KTM to First AMA Motocross Championship

Fri, 24 Aug 2012

The combination of racer Ryan Dungey, team manager Roger de Coster and the KTM 450 SX-F has delivered KTM its first ever 450 AMA Motocross title. Dungey rebounded from a first-lap crash in the opening moto at Unadilla Raceway to sweep both motos and clinch the 2012 AMA Motocross championship. The sweep gave the Red Bull KTM factory rider 450 points on the season and an insurmountable 113-point gap over MotoConcepts Suzuki‘s Mike Alessi.

Riding round the north of Scotland

Mon, 20 Aug 2012

I’m ashamed to say that until last week, I had no idea what incredible roads and scenery the North West of Scotland had to offer. Starting at Helensburgh just west of Glasgow, ten of us (including ex racers Duffus, MacPherson, Morrison and Simpson,) rode 600 miles round the coast then back down to Inverness. On mostly empty but immaculate roads we lost count of the mountains, lochs and sandy beaches along the way.
