For sale is my 2000 KTM 250 2-stroke on/off road. Second owner, I've had this since 2008 to relive my delinquent youth and terrify the neighbors with their Harley's and golf carts. As it turned out, I hardly road it at all, always something else needing to be done. I'm in my 60's now and retired and in the process of downsizing so it's time to get rid of some of the toys. The bike does have a couple issues that I'm aware of, those being leaking forks and a front master cylinder that needs rebuilding. 'Got all sorts of new plastic including a 4.5 gallon tank and a complete new wheel set, thinking I was going to license it for the street. Also have a new expansion chamber and hydraulic lift stand I'll throw in with the deal. serious bidders please. KTM 1290 Super Duke R Prototype to be Ridden at Goodwood Festival

KTM Developing 500cc and 800cc Twins
Wed, 05 Feb 2014After setting a new company record for motorcycle sales on the back of small displacement models like the Duke line (like the 390 Duke pictured above), KTM is turning its attention to mid-sized models. Speaking with Overdrive.in at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, KTM Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer says the company has 500cc and 800cc parallel Twin engines in development, with new models expected to enter production within three years. The new mid-sized models will be produced in India for the Indian market to avoid the country’s stringent import duties.

The two wins moved Hayes to the top of the championship standings from third as the three-time champion put himself in good position to win a fourth. Race One The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider had a relatively easy Race One as several top rivals crashed on the hot Alabama track.
