Indian Woodsman tech info
Indian Woodsman description
This is a 1955 Indian Woodsman 500cc single, one of the Indians produced by the English Royal Enfield and imported by Brockhouse after the Indian Springfield plant closed. The Woodsman was a 500cc single cylinder competition style scrambler/enduro having a 21 inch front trial type wheel, twin front brakes and skid plate, etc.. It would have had a high exhaust pipe and low flat handlebars. This one was converted for street use, i.e. street exhaust and bars. It's an older restoration that still looks nice, though not 100% correct. It runs and drives great and looks good but I have not checked the lighting system as it requires a 6V battery, which is not needed to run. Thinning my collection. Clear title in my own name.
