Indian Scout 101 description

 up for sale is a

new 101 Scout frame together with an original frontend (new leafspring) - frame has exact dimensions of original and can be used with all original 101 parts.

this is a good start for building a 101 Scout, Bobber, Racer or Chout, depending on which parts you have to work with.

I have a couple of more 101 parts that I might sell, like wheels, DGP cases (need welding), original cylinders, primary, transmission and rough original handlebars that I could sell as well.

The shipping costs are roughly estimated between $300 and $600 worldwide.

I will pack the parts well (no charge) and can reseach for the best shipping rate or am willing to cooperate with you preferred shipping company.

Indian Motorcycles Marque Of The Year For 2014 Vintage Motorcycle Days

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

Riding the wave of momentum from Indian’s long-awaited revival, for 2014, Indian Motorcycles will be the marque of the year at this year’s Vintage Motorcycle Days (VMD), held at the historic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, July 11-13. As this year’s celebrated marque, VMD will include special recognition, displays and race classes for historic Indian-brand motorcycles (including Indian “Motocycles” from the early days), as well as participation from the new Indian Motorcycle. VMD is open to all riders, regardless of what bike they ride.

Remember to dust your Union Jacks down if you happen to be visiting any Grand Prix this year as we have no less than seven youngsters to cheer on in the junior Moto GP classes. I don’t think we’ve ever had this many ‘yoofs’ in the GP paddock so let’s hope they can do the business and bring an end to our long drought of Grand Prix titles. And that could be soon as Scott Redding is already a hot favourite for the 2011 Moto 2 championship on his Marc VDS Suter machine.
