This auction is for a 1927 Indian Motorcycle - Chief that has been built into a bobber. Front end is a 1932, motor has 1947 cases. There is no serial number on the frame, the motor has the serial number that would have gone with the original bike (1927 frame match) - I know because I have a copy of the original title. Motor and transmission have been completely rebuilt, but has never been started. Nothing is missing - bike is ready to ride! Bike has current MN title. No warranty. Upon agreement of price a lump sum of $2,000 is due via paypal. Buyer needs to arrange pick up from Mound, MN - approx. 20min outside of the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Allstate Offering $5,000 Grants for Best New Motorcycle Safety Ideas
Thu, 08 Aug 2013We’ve previously written about Allstate‘s efforts at advancing motorcycle safety and awareness, from its “Watch for Motorcycles” sign campaign to its Rider Risk Map app on Facebook. Today, the insurance provider announced another new initiative in its Good Rides Grant program, offering $25,000 in grants for new ideas to advance motorcycle safety. Allstate is asking people to send their ideas on how to improve safety to the company’s Facebook page.
