Indian Chief Roadmaster description

GORGEOUS MOTORCYCLE with 4943 miles! With a little fix up, this bike can be like new again!  State Farm wrecked motorcycle with SALVAGE TITLE.  Plastics need to be replaced, but the motor runs strong, and no frame damage that we can tell.  Why buy new for $30k, when you can be into this one for less than half of new!?!  I’d guess a few thousand in parts, and you’re back on the road!  MUST SEE!!!

The FTR engine is unchanged, and even the 1203cc V-twin is still at 123bhp, but the engineers have tweaked the settings to make it Euro 5 compliant. Other than that, there are quite a few changes.

Indian Motorcycles Heading to … Um … India

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Polaris Industries announced it will launch its Indian Motorcycles brand in India on January 22, 2014. The inherently awkward naming aside, Indian Motorcycles India will begin operations about two months after the launch of its Polaris cousins Victory Motorcycles as the latest brand to seek out a chunk of the world’s second largest motorcycle market. Indian Motorcycles India will offer the company’s complete lineup, which includes the Chief Classic, Chief Vintage and Chieftain.
