Husqvarna WR description

This Husqvarna is a great original vintage bike that needs a new owner.
It has been fun to own and occasionally ride, but I'd rather let it go to someone who can enjoy it more frequently than I have.
I bought it as a non-running bike and I have cleaned the carburetor, replaced the ignition to include a lighting coil (for headlight/taillight), adjusted the points, replaced the petcock, replaced the air filter, and more.
The seat is newly recovered and is very comfortable. I have new cables that have not been installed yet.
It fires right up and runs strong. This is a VERY powerful bike that can be a hand full to ride!
I have a title for this bike and if wired up, it could be ridden on the street. I have installed a headlight (came off of an old Bultaco... not wired up), and would need a taillight. This is not an off-raod title!!! This has a street title in my name!!!
Vin # starts with MJ making it a 1972.

Has Mulholand aftermarket performance shocks on it.
Fires right up after "tickling" the carburetor and a few good kicks.

The fenders are a bit banged up, but not horrible. Paint is worn from years of enjoyment. Has 2 minor dings in the tank, but nothing major.
Some minor oxidation in the Akront aluminum rims.
Missing chain guard.
Minor leak from the kickstart shaft, but I do have the parts to replace it.
I think the carb drips a little from the drain plug. I will try to fix this before the bike sells, but is very minor.
Tires are non-original and in good condition.
Grips are old and could be replaced.
Sprocket cover was cut for easy cleaning.

This bike runs and rides and is a rare classic bike that has been very enjoyable to own.
If you're looking for white knuckles and scaring yourself with a vintage dirt bike, this is the bike for you!!!
Very loud and extremely powerful.
Fix it up and race it for AHRMA certified races.

Husqvarna to Race Moto3 in 2014

Thu, 21 Nov 2013

Husqvarna announced it will enter the 2014 Moto3 World Championship, fielding Danny Kent and Niklas Ajo in the 250cc road racing class. The team will be sponsored by energy drink maker Red Bull, which means the team won’t be lacking in funds. Husqvarna did not mention the motorcycle the team will use, but with the company now owned by KTM Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer, the Red Bull Husqvarna team will use machines similar to KTM’s winning Moto3 racer.

Official Sketches of 900cc Husqvarna Streetbike

Fri, 27 May 2011

Husqvarna has released these official drawings of its upcoming streetbike. Best known for its off-road models, Husqvarna seems to be taking a page from parent company BMW in teasing its new on-road model, first by releasing details about the engine, and now with these sketches. The drawings reveal a naked road bike with a supermoto influence not too far from Husqvarna’s usual style.

What’s New With CRP Electric Motorcycles?

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

CRP, the Italian company who made a splash last year when it announced it would make a production electric motorcycle, has been strangely quiet lately. With no news coming from the team in Modena, Italy, we wondered, what’s CRP been up to lately? While not much has been said publicly for months, CRP has been working feverishly behind the scenes to strengthen its staff.
