Husqvarna SMR 450 100th ANNIVERSARY description
HUSQVARNA SMR 450 100th ANNIVERSARY MOTORCYCLE Motorcycle for sale. Please read the full description as I have been thorough on every aspect of the bikes condition. This sale is for pick up only, so you have to come with a trailer or pick-up truck of some sort if you bid on the bike. There are some photos of a bin with spare parts and stickers and all items will come with the bike. I have many more pictures that I can send on request. Thanks for reviewing my listing. Name: HUSQVARNA Year: 2003 (100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY BIKE) BLACK & BLUE DESIGN Model: SMR 450 This bike has been driven on a campus for the most part with very little street driving and very little to no off-road riding. Do not have any paper work. Has not been registered or had insurance. I do have the manual and some of the other diagrams and stuff you see in one of the pictures. Bike was originally “street legal” when previous owner had it in Atlanta, Georgia but have since removed the blinker and brake light system. Bike was never made street legal for California. Has in inoperational digital odometer/speedometer which you can see in one of the pictures. Tires Description: MICHELIN “ANAKEE 3” ADVENTURE TOURING TIRES Chain Description: YAMAHA 9Y580-88121-00 Cosmetics Description: Used and rough. Black plastic. Original design was a blue and black Husqzarna 100 Year Anniversary design. Plastic kept getting destroyed by the sun and after 2 rounds of new decals, I just left them off. There are some new decals in the pictures which will come with the bike. It is not all of them. Bike has “GUTS” Hardcore Husqvarna Gripper Seat Cover put on in March 2015. Purchased and installed a new CDC602-K DOUBLE-ACTION ASV CLUTCH LEVER IN FEBRUARY 2015 New MICHELIN “ANAKEE 3” ADVENTURE TOURING TIRES (Front and rear installed in August 2015. 2011 a Success for Husqvarna North America
Wed, 08 Feb 2012Husqvarna‘s worldwide shipment totals were down 23% in 2011 but the numbers don’t tell the whole story for the BMW-owned brand, especially when it comes to the North American market. According to BMW’s 2011 fiscal year report, Husqvarna delivered 9,286 units in 2011, compared to 12,066 units in 2010. What those figures do not explain is BMW intentionally reduced supply to dealerships to help clear excess inventory.
Husqvarna Teases New Prototype for EICMA
Thu, 31 Oct 2013Husqvarna has a history of unveiling surprising new concepts at EICMA, but now that the company is under the auspices of KTM Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer, we weren’t sure if that tradition would continue for the upcoming show in Milan. It appears we had nothing to fear, as Husqvarna announced it would unveil a new prototype at EICMA that will “offer a visual incite into the future evolution of the brand”. We’re pretty sure Husky meant “insight” there, but we’ll forgive the Swedish brand if the prototype is as impressive as advertised.
BMW and Husqvarna to Unveil Concept Models at Frankfurt Auto Show
Fri, 02 Sep 2011BMW will unveil an electric scooter concept model and an entry level Husqvarna streetbike concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. The BMW concept, shown in the teaser sketch above, will likely be a version of the E-Scooter electric maxiscooter concept announced in July. BMW claimed the E-Scooter’s liquid-cooled electric motor offers performance similar to a 600cc combustion engine, while the battery casing itself will form the body of the frame.
