The dirt-road - Terra - features a 652 cc single-cylinder DOHC motor based on BMWs venerable G 650 GS engine. A modified EFI system, redesigned cams, higher compression and revised piston and cylinder head increase the power output, allowing the TR650 to boast 58 horsepower while still offering excellent fuel capacity of over 55 mpg.

2012 Husqvarna TC/CR Motocross Models Announced
Tue, 30 Aug 2011Husqvarna announced its 2012 motocross lineup including the updated TC250 and TC449 four-stroke models and CR125 two-stroke. Like the previously announced TE dual sports and TXC and WR off-road models, Husqvarna‘s 2012 motocross line receives new all-black chromoly frames with added structural reinforcement, and silver anodized Excel rims. 2012 Husqvarna TC250 The 2012 Husqvarna TC250 (pictured above) receives a new engine with a lighter piston and updated cylinder head, both borrowing from parent company BMW’s Formula 1 developments.

In fact, Husqvarna is committed to advancing two-stroke technology with the introduction of its latest motorcycle, the TC300. Designed to compete in the newly formed European Motocross 300cc two-stroke championship, the TC300 is a TC250 two-stroke, upgraded to 300cc with accessories soon to be available from the Husky Power range of special parts.
