Husqvarna Names Robert Jonas Head Of Motorsport

Effective immediately, Husqvarna Motorcycles has named 39 year-old, Robert Jonas as Head of Motorsport. He will be responsible for all of Husqvarna’s racing activities, including Motocross, Enduro, Extreme Enduro, and Moto3 road racing programs. As a former motocross racer Robert Jonas has been involved in motorcycle racing for much of his life.

New BMW World Superbike recruit, Marco Melandri has been using the Bavarian manufacturer's connection to Husqvarna to get himself a nice new motocross bike for the off-season. 2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced

The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.
