Husqvarna FE 501 Enduro description

This is a 2014 Husqvarna FE501 Enduro made by KTM-it has the KTM engine. This bike is in like new condition as you can see in the pics everything is original no replacement plastics, original tires, exept I put the FMF carbon fiber titanium muffler on it.This bike came without any of the evaporative emissions equipment, and has the euro mapping.I put the Shorai lithium ion LFX14L2-BS12 battery in it with the remote charger cord-you might see the charger cord end in the pics-it is easily reached under the right side of the seat.I will include the Shorai charger and the original muffler with the bike.I put the fuel sock in the gas tank BEFORE I ever put any fuel in it!! I put the pretty frame gaurd stickers on it.It has a quick release skidplate for fast easy oil changes.I CHANGED OIL AND FILTER AFTER EVERY RIDE!!! The odometer-speedometer still has the original clear protective sticker on it.The only reason I am selling it is because I bought a 2016 FC450 Husqvarna motocross.I really hate to sell this bike but I have too many projects going. This bike has never died or flamed out or backfired or stalled or missed out-it runs perfectly-bike has NEVER failed to start! It has the stock gearing -1st gear is low enough to ride tight trails, and it will go 90+ in 6th gear(6 Speeds).you could ride in the desert-you could ride in in the mountains -you could ride it in the rocks at Moab and with a clear title you could put a street legal kit on it and ride it home! These engines are absolutely buttetproof according to the experienced KTM mechanics I have talked to.They all say they've never worked on one of these engines-because they never saw one of the 501 engines with any problems!! I have the complete owners manual packet with spare spark plugs and lever covers.I put the taller Husky accessorie bar mounts on it -I will include the original bar mounts.Bike has 570 miles of easy gravel and chat road riding-with about 25 trail miles on it-if that.Bike shows 23.35hours on it-it shifts-runs-starts like new-it IS new! List price was $9,999.00 on these in 2014-I'm sure it's more than that now! This is one heck of a value for the bike that Dirt Bike Magazine named "Bike Of The Year" in 2014!!!  Buyer is responsible for transport of bike-I've sold alot of bikes this way-never have any problems.Call me with any questions Rich at 785-625-7986

2015 Husqvarna FS 450 Supermoto Announced

Thu, 04 Sep 2014

One result of KTM‘s acquisition of Husqvarna is the crossover of models, with KTM motorcycles swapping orange for Swedish blue and yellow. That is, more or less, what happened with Husaberg, so it’s no surprise to see that continue with Husky. Another side-effect is we get to see more from KTM’s awesome photography department, as exemplified here with the press photos of the new 2015 Husqvarna FS 450 supermoto.

What’s New With CRP Electric Motorcycles?

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

CRP, the Italian company who made a splash last year when it announced it would make a production electric motorcycle, has been strangely quiet lately. With no news coming from the team in Modena, Italy, we wondered, what’s CRP been up to lately? While not much has been said publicly for months, CRP has been working feverishly behind the scenes to strengthen its staff.

Interesting motorcycles you probably didn't see1 of 11Next Last There’s no cave deep, mountain high or rock heavy enough to have thwarted news of Ducati’s 1199 Panigale superbike launch at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. What we’ve comprised below is our list Top 10 Bikes unveiled at EICMA that didn’t receive top billing but are certainly worthy of your attention.
