1971 husqvarna 400 cross, 4spd, very original   no reserve             owned by  Steve McQueen, (yea i wish)    it is the same year and size as the one he owned, and made an overnight legend,  after being on the cover of sports illustrated aug 1971,   the 71 husky 400 was McQeens  favorite bike,  and these are highly collectable,  his bid up to $50k at mecum auction and was a no sale, This is a one owner until i rescued it from the corner of garage from the owner, he raced it in several cross country events back in the day, It has been maintained and eng rebuilt @ 10 yrs ago and ridden very little after that,  hasn't been started in 4-5 years, It was running perfect, would just need carb cleaned, fresh gas, plug etc to start it,  tank is dry and clean no rust inside tank

BMW and Husqvarna to Unveil Concept Models at Frankfurt Auto Show

BMW will unveil an electric scooter concept model and an entry level Husqvarna streetbike concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. The BMW concept, shown in the teaser sketch above, will likely be a version of the E-Scooter electric maxiscooter concept announced in July. BMW claimed the E-Scooter’s liquid-cooled electric motor offers performance similar to a 600cc combustion engine, while the battery casing itself will form the body of the frame.

2014 Husaberg Lineup Announced – Final Edition Before Husqvarna Merger

Husaberg may soon be no more, but that hasn’t stopped the Austria-based Swedish brand from unveiling its 2014 lineup of seven models. News broke last week of plans to reunite Husaberg with Husqvarna, to be known as Husqvarna Sportmotorcycle GmbH as of October 2013, making lineup of of seven off-road bikes including both two- and four-stroke models the final traces of the Husaberg as an independent brand. These 2014 models will also give us some indication of what to expect from the new Husqvarna models.

Husqvarna 701 gets new engine

At the last year’s presentation of the model in Portugal, none of the Husqvarna fans could really answer the question why the old 690 cc Kateem LC4 engine is used on the 701st Husk, while the 690 Duke has an already upgraded one. It took only a year to correct the mistake. The new engine of both versions of the Husqvarna 701 is absolutely identical to what is being installed on the 690 Duke from this year.
