Up for sale is a 1972 Husqvarna 450WR Dirt bike.Similar to the bike Steve Mcqueen rode . Title in hand! If you have a zero feedback, you must contact me before buying. Frame # MJ05114. Engine 2024-0460. As far as the condition goes... i will try to describe the current condition to the best of my ability. The gas tank has no dents. Clean inside. Paint looks great. The front and rear fenders have no dents and are the metal version not the white plastic ones. Tires look to have lots of tread left. The Seat has is in very good condition with no tears. The bike does shift through the gears. Chrome overall shows little pitting. No broken fins or damage to the motor. Frame paint in good condition. Motor paint has some minor paint rubs here and there. Exhaust has No holes,Put some repair spots in the back, some minor scrapes. Overall...a very clean good condition bike. Please see all pictures before bidding.The bike is Sold as is. BMW Sells Husqvarna to Pierer Industrie AG
Thu, 31 Jan 2013The BMW Group has announced the sale of 110-year old Husqvarna Motorcycles to Austrian-based Pierer Industrie AG. “The BMW Group signed a purchase agreement with Pierer Industrie AG (Austria) for the acquisition of Husqvarna Motorcycles. The acquisition will proceed subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.
