Husqvarna 430 XC description

This Vintage bike is what any husky enthusiast wants to find. Completely original, 2nd owner bike that has never been raced or modified, the bones are all here. Front shock seals have been done recently as well as a new chain and rear sprocket. Comes with both 5 gallon desert and original, coveted black and chrome tank AND motorcycle trailer from the same era. Simple modifications include Acerbis front headlight, handlebar-mounted water bottle and storage bag mounted on rear fender. Leather is in great condition. Bike Runs but has not been ridden in many years due to aging of the current owner, I just can't harness the power any longer. Bike needs a little love and care as there is a exhaust leak at the motor-exhaust junction. Just started it today to make sure everything is running right and it started right up. I definitely want to see this vintage bike go to the right person that can give it the right care that it needs and deserves.

2012 Husqvarna TE Lineup Announced

Husqvarna has announced its 2012 lineup of TE dual-sports. For 2012, all four TE models have been updated with all-black chromoly frames, silver rims and new graphics. The 2012 Husqvarna TE250 and TE310 both get revised suspension with stiffer 48mm open cartridge forks and rear shock from Kayaba.

2011 a Success for Husqvarna North America

Husqvarna‘s worldwide shipment totals were down 23% in 2011 but the numbers don’t tell the whole story for the BMW-owned brand, especially when it comes to the North American market. According to BMW’s 2011 fiscal year report, Husqvarna delivered 9,286 units in 2011, compared to 12,066 units in 2010. What those figures do not explain is BMW intentionally reduced supply to dealerships to help clear excess inventory.

Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend

American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.
