2001 Honda Xr 650R, RARE CALIFORNIA PLATED STREET LEGAL XR650R BY BAJA DESIGNS. Bike is very clean always garaged, serviced regularly and never raced. Baja Designs kit allows for street legal riding which includes, front and rear blinkers, break and headlight with high and low beam. Feel free to come by and take a look however I ask that anyone wanting to test ride the bike to bring a valid M1 CA license. This bike is extremely powerful and not for novice riders. The bike has valid tags till December 2013 and no longer requires a green sticker due to the license plate. Thu, 07 Jun 2012As neither the 125GPs or the Moto2 classes race at Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl smartly used his time between the Le Mans and Catalunya Grand Prixs to learn the California track and the Corkscrew ahead of the US GP on July 29th. Riding a loaned Fireblade from Honda America, the German took the to undulating circuit on a trackday, reportedly passing other riders very politely - watch a small glimpse of him here. “Moto2 and Moto3 don’t race at Mazda Raceway so we thought it was a good idea to have a first taste of this tight and twisty circuit." said the 2011 Moto2 champion said.
Hero Honda Rebranded as Hero MotoCorp
Tue, 09 Aug 2011Honda’s former joint venture in India has officially rebranded itself as Hero MotoCorp, revealing the company’s new logo and signaling the beginning of a new era for India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Formerly known as Hero Honda, the joint venture claims a share of nearly half of India’s two-wheeled vehicle market. Honda decided in late 2010 to end its 27-year partnership with India’s Hero Motors, buying out its 26% share for $855 million, about half the market price at the time.
