1976 Honda Xl250 on 2040-motos
Honda XL250 tech info
Honda XL250 description
This is a good running original bike. It is missing a few parts and has
some scratches and dings but for the most part is in great shape. The
clutch and transmission work well and it starts on the first kick. It has a new chain and both sprockets. As expected both tires are weather checked and worn. The seat has been recovered with a vinyl and needs to be done right. If
you read this far you probably know this bike is getting hard to find.
As seen in the pics both side covers are missing and the rear fender is
cracked and there is a small ding in the right side of the tank. The
kill switch is broken as well as the dimmer switch. The battery cover is
there but someone has cut the positive cable. In Wyoming prior to 1984
no title was issued for dirt bikes. Because of this they make it easy to
originate a new title. I have done the VIN inspection and started the
process which takes two weeks. I will guarantee clear title.

Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
