Honda Valkyrie description

     This bike is in AMAZING condition. I truly mean it. the paint is great just a few scratches. the chrome has NO rust on it, tires are in great shape, fresh oil change, clear windshield, everything works as it should. the mileage is 86461 and if you know anything about the Goldwing or Valkyrie you know these engines are rock solid and run for a very long time. The color is Green and silver. not sure why it looks so dark in the pics.

     There is just about every chrome option you could ask for on this machine. I will list everything as I can remember it. A Weighty Issue

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014

The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.

Bonhams To Sell Garelli Grand Prix Collection At No Reserve

The Grand Palais in Paris, France will play host to the auction, which includes the entire Garelli Grand Prix collection as its headliner. Founded in 1919, many famous Italian racers got their starts on Garelli motorcycles.
