Honda Shadow description

MUST SELL/REGISTER OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA

My loss is your gain... Purchased in May 2016 in Indiana, went to register in California, only to find out it will not pass California's strict emission laws.  It can be registered in literally any other state. I love this motorcycle, it runs perfectly. Comfortable and extremely easy to ride. The two flaws are a missing rear license plate light/housing; secondly, there some scuffs on the rear plastic fender (see photo). Very low milage (3,500 miles)... 7/30/16 full oil change and maintenance service. Please feel free to ask any questions and/or request more photos.

Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.

Marc Marquez Breaks Leg in Training Crash

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez has broken his right fibula in a dirt-track training session. Marquez, who had a remarkable 2013 campaign to win the MotoGP title as a rookie, will need up to a month to recover, which should just about make him available for the 2014 season opener March 23 in Qatar. The Repsol Honda rider was brought to the Hospital Universitari Quirón Dexeus in Barcelona, Spain, for examiniation by Dr.
