For sale is my 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 C2. The ONLY reason for selling is due to an overseas move and all of the costs to import it are simply prohibitively expensive. I hate to sell this bike but it must be done.
Clear title in my name ready for its new owner. It has been adult owned/ridden, always garaged and covered. All maintenance has been performed on time by my local Honda motorcycle dealer. It looks, runs, and handles like a new bike. It has been well cared for. The photos do not do it justice, must see in person to appreciate. Color is deep blue metallic. There are No leaks of any kind, and it does not burn any oil. As forementioned, it runs like new. You'd be hard pressed to find another 2007 C2 in this kind of condition. Only flaw on this bike is a few small scratches in the rear fender by original owner when attempting to install the backrest. They are in an area that is basically covered up by the back rest itself. I am completely up front with the complete condition of this motorcycle. I will post a picture of it or send one upon request. They were so minor and almost unseen is why I never bothered to have it repainted. Mileage on this 2007 is only 14,200 responsible adult ridden miles. It may go up slightly as it is still occasionally ridden and for test rides for local sale. Everything on this bike works exactly as it should. The C2 refers to it being a late 2007, when Honda changed back to the shadow having shaft drive for the final drive, which is quiet and less maintenance (every 4-5K) Condition: Body - I'd give it a 9 out of 10 Mechanically - 10 out of 10. Not pictured, but will include with sale if reserve is met, full Memphis Shades windshield with Trigger-Lock mounting kit with quick disconnect. (which is a $300 item if purchased retail) Tires - Near new rear tire, and front tire only has about 800 miles on it. (Matching Dunlop D404's) For anyone that knows the reputation of the Honda Shadows, this one lives up to its name for reliability. I make the trip from Colorado to Sturgis, SD each year and it's always performed flawlessly. My loss on this one is your gain, if import costs were lower, I honestly would never sell this bike. 2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results
Tue, 18 Feb 2014James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
2012 Honda NC700X Recalled in Canada
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 Honda NC700X and (Edit: the recall now includes the NC700S, which is also available in Canada). At this point, the recall is only for the X model and only in Canada, but a similar recall may come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the U.S.-spec Honda NC700X. According to Transport Canada, the outer plates on the links of the drive chain may not have received proper heat treatment.
