This Bike has been great and has a lot of extrasâ€¦ Forward Controls, Hand Grips, Cruise Control, Mirrors, Maltese Head Light, Smoked Lenses on Front Marker/Signals, Loud Horn, Pipes, KN Tornado Air Filter Intake, Saddle Bags w/ Supports, LED Tail/Brake Light and Rear Signals. The Bike sounds great and will definitely be noticed. Gets about 45 miles-per-gallon around town and has 16,000 mis on it. A Weighty Issue

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

The first update is related to the kickstarter, or rather, its absence: now the “single-barrel” in the basic version is started by an electric starter with a very light Li-ion battery. The second difference of the newly rejuvenated CRF450R is the suspension with changed settings - obviously, it steers more fun and perky than before.

55th Anniversary Edition Honda Little Cub Announced for Japan

Honda revealed a pair of special edition versions of the 50cc Little Cub for the Japanese market to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the original Super Cub C100. The Super Cub is one of the longest continually-produced model series in the world, with Honda producing more than 85 million units since 1958. That averages out to about 1.55 million Cubs produced per year.
