Honda Shadow tech info
Honda Shadow description
Listed for sale is a 2003 Honda Shadow American Classic Edition Deluxe VT 750CC .. The bike is black metallic with a aftermarket set of Vance and Hines exhaust pipes so cars can hear you coming. I've also installed a Memphis Fats windshield with a quick disconnect, so you can remove or install the windshield in seconds. Also added was a Mustang two piece leather seat with matching backrest. This bike is in very clean condition! and has been ridden very gently. I purchased it back in 2010 with 4120 miles on it. as you can see from the pic of the odometer i have only ridden it about 3800 miles in the past 6 years. Reason I am selling it is I am purchasing a home and need to gather funds for this purchase. Hate to part with it but that's how it goes. |

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.
Awesome Anaheim Supercross
Fri, 11 Jan 2013The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross. I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos. We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks. The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.
Does your 2010 Honda Fury have Sloppy Welds?
Tue, 02 Jun 2009The 2010 Honda Fury Chopper has been out for a few weeks now and people have been buying them up all across North America. A local Honda dealer revealed to us that he only received 4 choppers from Honda and sold them before they even arrived at his shop. The Fury is at a great price for those who want a stylish chopper look, but are you sacrificing quality for a bargain chopper? Do sloppy welds break your heart or can you tough it out and live with them knowing you got a unique looking bike at an affordable price? See the full post for pictures and opinions.
