2006 Honda Rebel on 2040-motos
Honda Rebel tech info
Honda Rebel description
I purchased this great bike in 2008 from a friend that bought it new in 2006.... at the time I purchased the bike, it only had 252 miles on it. This one is in the beautiful metallic/pearl white color.
I would generally put anywhere between 600-800 miles on it each season, but haven't been able to ride it much the past 2 riding seasons. However, it still started right up once I put a battery in it and touched the electric start button. It has always been garage parked, has never been rained on or ridden in the rain or snow. The Rebel is a great bike... it is light, low, and very comfortable to ride. It might only be a 234CC, but it is capable of highway speeds, and is peppy enough to ride in city traffic and not be a slow moving hazard. It generally gave me right around 70mpg! It runs great..... with only a few VERY minor cosmetic faults. One can be seen in the license plate light photo..... I once bumped into the reflector arm that extends to the right of the light.... you might be able to see a little crack in the chrome part, you can certainly see it is deflected slightly forward toward the seat. It hasn't changed since I originally bumped it, and I've since been more careful while walking past it. Today, I noticed one nick in the tank, smaller than the head of a pin... so small, I wasn't able to capture a usable photo. it's not real noticeable as it is around 2" ahead of the gas cap and to the left of the tank center line. Sure don't see any tank dents.... and have tried to show tread depth on both tires. As I didn't receive the owners manual from the original owner, it is not included. It is, of course sold as is, with no warranty. On Jun-15-16 at 09:37:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Be advised that I am currently using the bike around town... it will likely have right around 100 miles more on it than the odometer photo shows. Once the auction ends though, the bike will NOT be used. I will send the winning bidder a photo of the odometer to show the mileage. On Jun-16-16 at 13:13:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I've just added a photo of some minor scratches I just noticed on the lower end of the right side of the front shock... the light really has to be right to see them. The longest one looks to be about 1.5" long, the lower one is about 1".... There are another 2 less noticeable, shorter scratches lower on the fork. |
