HERE IS A NICE AND CLEAN 1977 XR75, RUNS AND RIDES GOOD, REGISTERED TIL 2015, BRAND NEW CARBURATOR, THROTTLE CABLE AND FENDERS, THIS BIKE IS MY SON'S BUT HE IS TOO BIG FOR IT. THE THROTTLE HANDLE NEEDS TO BE WORK ON, IT HAS SOME BLEMISHES ON THE GAS TANK, AND THE FRONT BRAKES NEED TO BE FIXED. AK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID.

Remember push starts?

Alongside the most stunning collection of race and road bikes at their Motegi museum, next to some race bikes, Honda also has a step by step guide on most aspects of riding. I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be. Earlier this week we revised the 2012 MotoGP calendar and included Spa on the list. Yes, we know the chances of MotoGP going to Spa are thinner than a steam-rolled Supermodel but we like the thought of MotoGP going there. Check out this video of FIM 2009 World Superstock champion, Xavier Simeon, onboard a Honda CBR600RR, putting in a scorcher of a lap.

Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood

Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
