Mileage: 20100, I will put another 100 or so on it this week.
Up for sale a nice 1983 Honda GL650 Silverwing. It is a great bike to ride. It's a 64 HP v-twin water cooled
engine, and are known to run forever.
They literally will go hundreds of thousands of miles with proper maintenance.
The GL650 was only made one year (1983) and then Honda discontinued the line.
These were made as middle weight touring bikes, and they work very well for
that purpose.
Extras
This bike has a Windjammer Vetter fairing because I liked it better than the
stock fairing. They're great fairings, just solid as a rock and the window is
absolutely clear.
The bike has never been down but there is a rub mark on the edge of the
fairing.
It has Samsonite lockable hard bags that are water tight.
The head light is a very very bright halogen. You can see a long way down the
road.
Both tires and front brake pads have less then 1000 miles on them.
Comes with but not shown. Original Honda head light and Hard Trunk.
All the leather is good on the front and back seat.

Honda Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 31 Jan 2012Honda reported a 41% decrease in net income over the third quarter, thanks primarily to the rising Japanese yen, continuing effects from the Japanese earthquake and floods in Thailand interrupting automobile production. Thanks to recovering auto sales and growing motorcycle sales in emerging markets, Honda reported a net profit of 47.6 billion yen (US$624 million) in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011.
Stoner Tops Day One of Sepang Test – Video
Tue, 28 Feb 2012It’s been about a month since Casey Stoner last tested the Honda RC213V racebike at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit but the defending World Champion remains the man to beat, setting the fastest lap at the first day of MotoGP’s February Sepang test. Heavy rain limited teams’ testing and Stoner only completed 16 laps but still managed to set a time of 2:01.761. Stoner was the only rider to lap under 2:02, though his Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa came close with a time of 2:02.005 while completing 36 laps.
Honda Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Honda reported an 11.4% increase in sales volume and 30.0% increase in net sales revenue from its motorcycle business in the third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2013. The industry giant sold 4.25 million motorcycles over the quarter compared to sales of 3.82 motorcycles in the same quarter the previous year.
